He presented on the 14/6 to the Central Coast Vet Centre with a cough, dull lung sounds on the R side and harsh lung sounds ventrally on the R side. He had been on antibiotics + other medication previously and x-rays had suggested something not quite right. He was only showing signs of mild kennel cough. After blood testing a CT was performed
two days later. Results pending/undergoing
open chest surgery & recovery.

UPDATE- Buster had successful open chest surgery and all his right sided lung lobes have been removed. Samples of his lymph nodes at the base of his heart have returned as carcinoma and he will begin chemotherapy shortly
Buster's heart rate remained unusually high under general anaesthetic as seen on the monitor (btw 150-200) -but his blood oxygen level remained 99% despite his chest & lungs below.
